Creignish Hall

The CRC Board and community have continued the legacy of its original constitution, established in 1974. The founding members:

Dernie Gillis
Charles D. Heighton
John Duncan MacDonald
Angus MacEachern
Lawrence MacEachern
Gerald MacFarlane
Richard MacIvor
Ronald MacNeil
Nick Scott
Donford Smith

determined the purpose and aims of the "club":

  • To work for the social betterment of the community.
  • To initiate and develop community programs to further the above purpose.
  • To work with other associations whenever a joint effort is considered advisable.

The current board and membership has embodied the same spirit of community caring that were articulated over 50 years ago.
